Participants from Tonj East, Tonj South, Tonj North, Gogrial East, Gorgial West, Lake State and Abyei areas on Sunday concluded the three-day cultural day competition in Warrap State.
One of the participants Joseph Sebit Tabia told Radio Don Bosco that the cultural day where some people performed traditional dramas about types of crops, cattle raiding, and girls’ problem aimed to unite people from different counties and states.
He said the cultural competition encourage young people to unite and know the importance of their traditions and norms.
Mr Sebit explained that Twic County participants were the first and Tonj East took the second position and both got cups because they performed nice dramas and dances.
He disclosed that another cultural competition is expected to be conducted next in January 2015.
