Eastern Equatoria Youth and Sports minister urged citizens to ensure setting measures to prevent man-made hazards.
Patrick Lodinga Kotein cited cattle raiding and other sources of conflict as man-made hazards that could be prevented by staying together and peaceful coexistence, Radio Emmanuel reported.
He appealed to state citizens to unite, cooperate and help each other when natural disasters like destruction by storm, floods among others occur.
The minister made the appeals on Saturday at the closure of two-day consultative workshop for the formulation of risk management policy in Torit, Eastern Equatoria.
