Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Thursday said one hundred youths from Tonj, seventy-five from Marial-Lou and thirty-five from Romic Parishes left Tonj to join the youth congress in the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek in Lake State.
Fr John Peter said the occasion is to make youths to brainstorm, share the word of God, cultural values and sports to help them grow holistically, Radio Don Bosco reported.
Tonj Mission Administrator Fr Peter Karayuki quoted St Paul as saying ‘it is a collective responsibility to work for peace’.
The Administrator advised Christians and young people to see their brothers and sisters as the image Jesus Christ.
Fr Karayuki said the youth congress is expected to take four days.
