South Sudan Bar Association is expected to elect its president today.
Lawyers Association potential candidate for presidency Gammar El Deen Wani during a campaign on Sunday in Juba expressed hope to reduce lawyers’ challenges in South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reported.
He said the Association would work for all lawyers, ruling out demands by other members that its leadership would be limited to SPLM.
The Bar Association candidate urged all lawyers in the country to unite, stressing that the Association would sensitize South Sudanese to understand law to remove public ignorance.
