Morobo County of Central Equatoria State is constructing an air strip in Iraga area for the first time since its inception.
Commissioner Moses Simon Soro told Radio Easter that the air strip would be the major project of the state as he received engineers from Mega Trading and Investment Company for the operation.
He appreciated Morobo community for allocating land for the construction.
Mega Trading and Investment Engineering Company Consultant Francis Mukani said they visited Morobo to start the building project of three kilometres by two kilometres that would last for about four months.
Morobo airfield construction would the first after the independence of South Sudan.
