South Sudan Catholic Bishops in a pastoral letter call for end to the crisis in the country, terming it as ‘evil war’.
Sts Peter and Paul Parish Priest Jackino Lomogo said the Bishops disregarded the war in the country, saying no justification for continued killing of citizens, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Fr Lomogo said God is merciful and pays with love, calling on citizens to refrain from killing one another.
The parish priest reported that the Bishops quoted prophet Isaiah’s description that human beings are the work of God, relating it to clay and a porter.
Fr Lomogo read the letter to Christians at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish in Torit town.
