State Education Minister said Western Equatoria students performed well in the 2013 South Sudan Certificate Exams results national Education minister John Gai Yoah announced on Tuesdays in Juba.
Pia Philip Michael told Anisa Radio in a telephone that the state occupied the third position in South Sudan with 75.4 percent and that the state secondary schools results would be announced in the nearest future.
Mr Pia revealed that the national Education Ministry postponed South Sudan Certificate Exams to mid-January 2015.
He described the postponement as a golden opportunity for all candidates to prepare well and help the weak one to maintain the third position of the state.
The minister disclosed that primary eight candidates are expected to start their exams on December 18 in all counties, encouraging all of them to prepare well.
