The Coordinator of Rumbek Catholic Diocese while presiding over the Eucharistic celebration during the feast of Christ the King on Sunday at Holy Family Cathedral, urged leaders to turn to God and ask for forgiveness to live in peace.
Fr John Mathiang said a good king is the one who looks at the need of his people, pointing out that South Sudanese need security, peace and love, Good News Radio reported.
He warned that if the authorities do not respond positively to the needs of their people, there would be greater disaster.
The Coordinator called upon the faithful to serve others in their families, offices, communities and the whole nation.
Many Christians in Rumbek on Sunday gathered in their various Churches and Chapels to celebrate the feast of Christ the King.
