Residents of Lasu Payam in Yei River County on Friday expressed their happiness following Vivacell network extension to connect rural communities to other parts of the world.
Speaking to Radio Easter on Friday, the residents said they can now communicate freely at home, recalling that they used to communicate at one point at night where network interruption during the day was severe.
They said Vivacell now joined MTN in extending their network to rural areas in Lasu Payam to ease communication.
Radio Easter could not reach Vivacell office for comments.
