The Catholic Archbishop of Juba will on Sunday preside over the ordination Eucharistic celebration of two deacons into priests at St Theresa Cathedral Kator.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro will ordain Deacons Jackson Yugusuk and Joseph Wani, marking the solemnity of Christ the King, ending Catholic Church’s ordinary time.
The administration of the Archdiocese of Juba earlier invited Christians to accompany the two deacons with prayer in their journey to priesthood.
Deacons Jackson Yugusuk now aging 28 and Joseph Wani 34 years old, crowned deacons in June, 2014 underwent a two-week retreat in All Saints Parish Rejaf.
The celebration that brings together Christians from all the 14 parishes of the Archdiocese and national and state government dignitaries is expected to be coloured with traditional dances and other entertainments.
