The Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan warned employees against late reporting to work and departing earlier than scheduled time.

James Wani Igga on Tuesday said some employees just relax at work place and yet there is a lot to do, Bakhita Radio reported.

He disclosed that the national government is set to implement an earlier plan of introducing Performance Contracts for all employees to check on cheating.

Vice President Wani added that the Performance Contract would be valid for 12 months only renewable on performance basis.

He said the Performance Contract would be used for promotion and evaluation purposes.

The Vice President made the statement during a visit to Ministry of Electricity, Dams, Irrigation and Water Resources in Juba.
