Tonj peace conference in Warrap State which was opened last Saturday by Presidential Advisor Tor Deng Mawien is engaged in discussing rampant killing of women, children and cattle rustling in the state.
Warrap State Governor Nyandeng Malek told the conference attended by local communities, cattle keepers, youths, chiefs and leaders to cooperate and talk frankly to stay in peace as brothers and sisters, Don Bosco reported.
She advised men to stop killing women and children to spare them for wives which they treasure in so much.
Governor Nyandeng also urged youths to focus on farming and peace building in the country.
Warrap Deputy Governor Akech Tong Aleu said the peace conference drew participants from Western Bahr El Ghazal and Lake States.
