Western Bahr El Ghazal government on Monday started its first evaluation forum under the theme: ‘Accountability, transparency and responsive government”.
Governor Rizig Zachariah Hassan said the forum aims at evaluating achievements and challenges of all government institutions, Voice of Hope reported.
He disclosed government’s plan to provide general security, health and educational services to citizens in the state.
Governor Zachariah said the government also planned to offer food security and raise citizens’ living standard, citing few qualified teachers as one of the challenges facing education sector in the state.
The forum brought together state cabinet, members of the parliament, Director-Generals and chiefs.
