Yei Health Department receives 40,000 mosquito nets

Yei River County Health Department received forty thousand pieces of mosquito nets from the state Health ministry and its supporting partners.
 
County Health Administrator Constantino Guya told the media on Monday that the donation was meant to prevent spread of Malaria in the society, Radio Easter reported.
 
He said the nets would benefit pregnant women and children below five years in all payams and the municipality.
 
Centre of Democracy and Development Program Officer Dara Felix called for timely distribution of the nets to beneficiaries.
 
Last month, the County Health Department reported that malaria cases were rising.
