Citizens in Yei Municipal Council and the County at large on Monday welcomed the new municipal policy of burning of narcotic drugs in the county.
Augustine Ayiko, one of the citizens commended the policy, urging the government to check out any imported goods which are detrimental to development, Radio Easter reported.
He urged the state government to provide micro finance support to local people unable to help themselves and encourage banks to give them loans to generate income.
Mr Ayiko called on the government to stop local breweries by creating income generating activities.
