Cattle problem left Tonj South Commissioner’s Private Secretary badly wounded from the head and hands with several other people in Akuceng area.
County Commissioner William Wol Mayom said cattle keepers badly beat up his private secretary in the office, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mr Wol said the fighting started between cattle keepers and a CID person in Akuceng cattle camp at around 9:00 AM and they came to the town and injured his private secretary.
He said his private secretary and other wounded people were admitted in Tonj Civil Hospital.
Mr Wol condemned the incident, urging communities to resolve their problems through dialogue or legal procedures.
The Commissioner said he already deployed police to rescue the situation in Akuceng and that the fighters were arrested to face the law.
