Central Equatoria Local Government and Law Enforcement Minister on Wednesday opened a Fire Brigade office in Kajo-Keji County.

Kajo-Keji Press Secretary Amule Charles told CRN in a telephone on Thursday that Gerard Francis Yokwe officially on Wednesday opened the office on behalf of Governor Clement Wani Konga.

He said Fire Brigade Service Director appreciated the Governor Konga for supporting the construction of the office with 300 thousand South Sudanese Pounds.

The Press Secretary said the Fire Brigade officers complained lack of logistics, water tanks for rescuing fire outbreaks in the county.

Mr Charles said County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni told citizens to make good use of the independence for development, not to waste time in creating disputes among themselves with neighbouring communities.

The Commissioner encouraged citizens to promote girl’s education because ‘educating a girl, means educating the whole nation’.
