Yei River County Boda-boda Union riders on Tuesday joined the polio immunization campaign through town riding with awareness T-shirts to encourage parents keep their children at home for the house to house oral vaccination.
The Union Deputy Director, Apollo Hassan Jackson, called on the riders to exercise safe riding to avoid many accidents especially while approaching Christmas season, Radio Easter reported.
Mr Jackson observed that as they struggle to get money for survival, criminals are trying harder to kill riders and confiscate motorbikes, calling on them to practice personal life security to avoid attacks because security is a collective responsibility.
