Mundri West County Commissioner in Western Equatoria State said unknown gunmen attacked a cattle camp on Monday near Amadi Artillery Training Centre killing six people and wounding four others.
Lexon Mobruk added that one woman was missing, 37 cows, seven goats and one donkey were killed, but authorities recovered 100 cows, Anisa Radio reported.
He lamented that he was longing for national intervention to the issue of cattle raiders between his County and Yirol West County in Lakes State.
The Commissioner said the wounded were quickly transported to Lui Hospital for treatment and that a good number of survivors relocated to Amadi artillery Training Centre for safety.
