Yei Commissioner warns revenue collectors against bribery

Yei River County Commissioner in Central Equatoria State warned revenue collectors and security organs against bribery at check points.
 
Bidali Cosmas Wori-Kojo expressed disappointment to arrest a lorry transporting teak logs from Kagelu forest station to the Ugandan capital, Kampala, Radio Easter reported.
 
He added that illegal dealers were issued receipts by the revenue and traffic departments at the entry points.
 
The Commissioner warned that any authorised revenue officer violating the laws would be trucked down to face the law.
 
Central Equatoria Governor clement Wani Konga issued an order banning exportation of unprocessed logs outside the state.
