Yei River County Health Department on Thursday started four-day Expanded Program on Immunization or EPI acceleration campaign in four payams including the municipality.
In a statement Easter Radio obtained, County Social Mobilizer Michael Lugala Nichola said the campaign targets children from zero to eleven months to be administered with antigens against killer diseases.
He urged parents to take their children to the nearest health facilities or outreaches in different parts of the County.
Radio Easter’s journalist witnessed a massive mobilization of residents in the town especially mothers taking their children with good turn up for the antigen’s administration.
