Yei River County and Municipal leaders on Thursday told the two Chambers of Commerce executives not to create hatred and division after government changes, but reorganize to collectively work together to benefit citizens.

Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba urged the leaders to unite and not spoil working relations over government changes because they are always made to improve service delivery to citizens.

He warned that any leader misbehaving after the reconciliation would be dealt with according to the law.

County Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wori asked the leaders to welcome changes and work for the country’s economic development by implementing government policies.

The two Chambers were bitter following the creation of the Municipal Chamber leading to beating of the County Chamber of Commerce chairperson.
