The newly elected Eastern Equatoria Legislative Assembly Speaker on Tuesday took oath of allegiance.
The President of the State High Court Arfakchad Boyoy Kelga presided over the swearing –in of the incoming Speaker Tobiolo Alberio Oromo, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The Acting Speaker Paul Napwon immediately handed over the office after the swearing-in of Tobiolo.
Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore praised the new speaker, saying he was elected due to hard work.
Eastern Equatoria state Assembly on Monday voted MP Oromo to be the Speaker after he was last week elected by the state SPLM caucus as the party flag bearer.
