Central Equatoria State Health ministry on Saturday inaugurated Martha Primary Care Health Centre Children’s Ward in Yei Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Diocese to improve service delivery in the state.
State HIV AIDS Director Felix Wani said the facility would greatly relief children’s health situation, Easter Radio reported.
Brick Work Organization Representative John Spen said their contribution to the construction of the ward was the biggest project they took.
He disclosed that they are currently sponsoring some health personnel in training to provide quality services to the health centre particularly and the nation at large.
Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba cited few health personnel and inadequate drugs to run the facility, calling on the partners and the government to provide drugs and human resource to boost the services.
The officials spoke during the inauguration of the ward at Martha Primary Health Centre on Saturday in Yei Municipality.
