The National Legislature has postponed the appointment of the Referendum Commission scheduled for yesterday after an objection raised by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement against one of its members.

The SPLM objected the appointment of Taj Alsir Mohamed Saleh as a member of the Commission because he belongs to the Democratic Unionist Party, SUNA reported.

The National Assembly decided to return to the presidency the list of nominees for the Referendum Commission to review the rules for nominations.
