Tombura County expands electricity coverage

Tombura County on Monday expanded its electricity supply in the town.
 
Tombura County Commissioner Babiro Charles Gbamisi said coverage that reached Tombura Market, Freedom Square and Rii Yubu-Yambio roads, was to reach the common citizen and enable business community boost the market, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He said they bought a new big generator that is expected to supply sufficient electricity in the town.
 
County Engineer Marko Adidi and other engineers were on technical measurement to see how the power would be extended to other areas.
 
All heads of departments and a number of local citizens attended the opening ceremony and were delighted to county authorities.
 
Tombura County was badly affected in the recent fuel shortage that hit hard Western Equatoria and other parts of South Sudan last month.
