St Mary Parish Priest in Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese celebrated his 15 years of priestly service on Friday, calling on the faithful to follow St Daniel Comboni footsteps for peace to prevail among communities.
Fr Peter Moudie who was ordained on the feast of St Daniel Comboni 15 years ago, called on South Sudanese to put aside tribal differences and live in peace, Anisa Radio reported.
He added that the vision of St Daniel Comboni to save Africa by Africans was for the whole continent of the black people without separating one country from another.
St Joseph Minor Seminary Rector Fr John Gbemboyo criticized the dressing styles and other foreign cultures Western Equatoria and South Sudan youths imitated which do not match with the indigenous cultures.
He said the vision of St Comboni means people have to live their own ways instead of throwing away their cultures and take the foreign ones.
Fr John Gbemboyo called upon the youths to join the Comboni Missionaries.
