Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Kajo-Keji Diocese Archdeacon attending the ongoing one-month national peace, healing and reconciliation training in Yei River County of Central Equatoria said peace talks’ adjournment is good because there is no need to hurry in conflict resolution.

Archdeacon James Lule Kenyi told CRN in a telephone interview on Monday that peace is a process and that the talks’ recess is for the good of the nation.

He recommended slow pace for comprehensive and amicable resolution of conflict with genuine agreement to avoid future violence.

Archdeacon Lule said the training on peace, healing and reconciliation is going on well in its second week in Yei.

He explained that the training focuses on peace concepts, reconciliation and trauma healing given the long time history of wars in the country.

Archdeacon Lule encourages masses to pray for one another and promote peace in communities to discourage violence history.
