Torit Catholic Apostolic Administrator called on Small Christians Communities to extend the good news of Jesus Christ to others in the Diocese.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha in his Homily during the graduation of the second group of Small Christians Communities at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit, described the members as missionaries to make Jesus known to all people of Torit, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The Apostolic Administrator emphasized the need for members of the Small Christian Communities to participate weekly in the Eucharistic celebration.

He advised the Christians to accept Christ in their midst, citing the life of Jesus in every faithful as a Saviour of humanity.

Monsignor Oliha noted that words of God are sources of spirit and life in the hearts of living Christians, encouraging Christians to keep them in their hearts.

He called on the faithful to celebrate mysteries, saying the life of a Christian is complete through receiving the body and blood of Christ.

The Apostolic Administrator made the remarks on Sunday during the graduation of 97 members of Small Christian Communities.
