J-Family launches tree-planting in Yei

J-Family crew on Friday launched tree planting at Christ the King Primary School of Yei Catholic Diocese to show their love for the school and fight desertification.
 
The crew manager Wani Steven said the exercise aimed at recognizing the school, fight hunger and deforestation, Easter Radio reported
 
Chris the King Parish Priest Tom Poru Martin said it was the first of its kind for the school to experience such developmental remembrance, urging the artists to compose songs of peace, reconciliation and progress.
 
Yei County Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wori commended the J-Family for its tremendous job in the music industry which contributes to the agricultural policy of South Sudan to save citizens from hunger.
 
He also expressed government’s commitment to support the music industry to realize tangible development.
 
Commissioner Bidali encouraged the J-Family foundation to keep on doing their good job of showing examples to their fellow pupils and students.
