Catholic youths in Maingbangaru Center of St Mary Parish in Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese started two-day capacity building workshop on Friday.
Diocesan Coordinator and head Catechist Richard Gbiaundore said the training tackled leadership and marriage for youth who tell the truth, hardworking and backbone of the community, Anisa Radio reported.
Mr Gbiaundore urged the church laity groups to support each other and some groups.
Maingbangaru Youth Chairperson Kumbonyaki Patrick Yongo said they initiated and contributed food and money for the workshop to take place since 2001.
He said 170 youths from five Chapels attended the workshop for the first time, hoping that similar trainings would be organized at least twice every year.
The youth Chairperson urged the leaders to care about their people spiritually and materially.
