Christian Brothers completed five-day training to people living with HIV AIDS virus from Star Support Group in Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.

Star Support Group Chairperson Raphael Anthony Kerembia said they acquired a lot of knowledge on how to care for their health, live positively and preserve hygiene and sanitation in the training, Anisa Radio reported.

He lamented that their group faces inadequate supplies of medicines.

Fr Luke Yugue who facilitated the course, called on the people living with HIV to unite, love one another and be God fearing people, warning them against infecting others intentionally.

He promised Diocese’s commitment to continue supporting people living with the virus.

Participant’s representative Mary Rose Francis testified that she lived positively with her two children for the past nine years taking Anti-retroviral drugs.
