Warrap State Information Minister welcomed citizens’ criticism on bad road conditions all over the country which created fuel shortages and commodity prices increase in the state and many parts of South Sudan.

Paul Dhel Kon said citizens have the right to blame the state government for failing to meet their expectations in terms of feeder roads, Voice of Hope reported.

Mr Dhel blamed the national Ministry of Roads and Bridges for not doing enough to maintain the national highways.

He said having bad roads means insecurity vulnerability and that it would be difficult for the government to put military plans in place.

The state minister called on the national ministry of Roads to prioritize infrastructures especially during the coming dry season, saying it should tarmac the trunk roads as a permanent solution.
