Many consumers are decrying high prices as many shops run out of goods especially onions, sugar and other commodities in Rumbek main market.
Good News Radio on Monday toured the market and discovered that three pieces of onion cost 15 South Sudanese Pounds and a cup of white sugar cost ten Pounds.
The Radio also discovered that fuel prices in the black market are between 20 and 25 Pounds per a litre as all patrol stations dried up two weeks ago.
Traders attributed the disappearance of goods to bad roads and that over 100 lorries were stranded at Mvolo-Wulu road.
