University of Bahr El Ghazal Vice Chancellor said they need three million South Sudanese Pounds to fix fire outbreak damages for smooth running of the institution.
Samson Wasara explained that the three million would be for rebuilding the burnt hostel and rehabilitating materials damaged inside it, Voice of Hope reported.
Dr Wasara said University emergency meeting established a committee to investigate the cause of fire outbreak, affirming that preliminary reports suggested that the fire was not caused by the electricity.
Fire gutted the University of Bahr El Ghazal early this week destroying 1,400 mattresses and 100 beds.
