One South Sudanese dead in South Sudan-Uganda border crisis

Kajo-Keji County Press Secretary on Friday morning confirmed witnessing one South Sudanese corpse of a young man killed by Ugandan attackers at Sunyu area at Kajo Keji-Moyo borders using machetes and clubs.
 
Amule Charles said other three people were wounded in the incident including a pregnant woman now hospitalized in Kajo-Keji.
 
He disclosed that Ugandan attackers who invaded Sunyu area set 12 South Sudanese homesteads on fire.
 
Mr Charles added that so far 80 South Sudanese households in Moyo District were burnt down to ashes and all property looted.
 
The Press Secretary reported that Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni warned of losing control over angry residents who are gnawing teeth to revenge should Moyo District authorities continue to fail in bringing the escalating situation under control.
 
Anonymous local sources expressed fears that there may be more cases of death at the border clashes.
 
Uganda media today reported that two Moyo native residents were wounded and hospitalized at the District Hospital.
