Lakes State Education Ministry Director General proposed converting operational money for repairing worsening roads that hinder movement of people and goods.
Isaac Matiok Luk said the operation budget should only be used for repairing the bad roads in the state rather wasting it, Good News Radio reported.
The Director General urged people of Lakes State to be sober, keen and look at things not politically before judgment.
He commended the development efforts of Governor Matur Chut, challenging state minsters to work hard and not leave the work to the Governor alone.
Director General Matiok was speaking at his home in Rumbek while on a forced leave.
