Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop on Saturday ordained five new priests and one Deacon at St Mary Cathedral, coinciding with the death of Emeritus Bishop Joseph Gazi Abangite.
Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala described the ordination of Frs Elias Taban Wande Emmanuel Giimko Tunguse of Augustinian Congregation in Amadi of DR Congo, Franco Berapai Hilary from Yambio, Gume George Zino from Naandi and Deacon Sete Miambu as a coincident and a miracle in life, Anisa Radio reported.
The Bishop requested the entire Christian community to strengthen their faith while mourning their grandfather and celebrating his life during the ordination of six young men.
He appreciated the congregation for their being civilized and having strong faith.
Deacon Sete Miambu lamented that he wanted to thank the late Emeritus Bishop after ordination because he was his first Bishop.
After the ordination, the coffin of late Bishop Gasi was taken from Bakhita Parish to St Mary Cathedral in Yambio.
