Catholic University of South Sudan Administration in Wau Campus says they equip students with household income generating knowledge to prepare them for job creation.

Wau Campus Agriculture, Environmental Science Faculty Director Fr Solomon Ewot say the University is screening students to train them with agribusiness and marketing skills for job creation, Voice of Hope reported.

He disclosed that agribusiness diploma program was introduced to accommodate students with less than 60 percent score.

Fr Ewot revealed that the University would graduate its first batch of students in degree program majoring in agriculture after five years studies in early October.

He added that Catholic University would graduate 19 students out of 45 in presence of bishops who laboured to see the university established.

Fr Ewot explained that other students could not make it up to the graduation because of financial challenges.

The statement followed recent visit of Catholic University Vice Chancellor Fr Mathew Pagan who conducted several meetings with Wau Campus Administration and students.
