Gok community head of peace committee on Tuesday appealed to various communities in Lakes State to avoid innocent killing among members and live in harmony as brothers and sisters.
Dr Amon Wantok said life is a major concern and that killing elderly people, women and children is self-destruction, Good News Radio reported.
Delegate Charles Maing Dougrin observed that Lakes State witnessed a lot of bloody killing among Gok, Rumbek and Yirol communities.
He added that Gok community peace delegation would meet all communities in the state.
The six members’ peace delegation cooked the initiative from Juba with support of United Nation Mission in South Sudan.
