Kenyan ambassador who facilitated Western Bahr El Ghazal mini conference advised South Sudan leaders to focus on potential opportunities for the country’s future instead of past bitter experiences.
Ambassador Mberto Kiplagat observed that South Sudanese are pre-occupied by the past with little focus on future, Voice of Hope reported.
He urged South Sudanese political leaders to treat their successes and failures carefully because they can be blinding them from visioning future opportunities.
Ambassador Kiplagat appealed to the nation to dream day what could be termed impossible dreams to promote citizens’ freedom.
The diplomat advises that there is great hope that South Sudanese will one day be ‘one people and one nation’.
He called on nationals to get united to help out black Sudanese under bondage in Darfur, Northern Sudan and Abyei.
Ambassador Kiplagat accompanied Vice President James Wani Igga for three days mini peace and reconciliation dialogue in Wau.
