Tonj South County Health Supervisor in Warrap State on Thursday said 11 health facilities’ staff turned up for one to five vaccine refresher training.
Marko Malang said they brought together 26 EPI vaccinators from Greater Tonj for five-day training on one to five call ‘pentavalent’ vaccines, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The Supervisor said ‘pentavalent’ vaccines are new and very important because they protect children from many diseases.
Mr Malang said the target groups for the vaccinations were children from zero to five months and mothers of bearing ages: 15 to 44 years old.
The Supervisor said they have different types of vaccines for children and mothers, urging all the staff to serve their people at health facilities.
