Central Equatoria Governor on Wednesday revealed a plan to build Juba Football Stadium and FIFA headquarters at Mulubur famously known as Mobil eight kilometres north of Juba due to limited space in the town.
Clement Wani Konga while receiving a cup won by Malakia Football Club said Simba playground would also be relocated to the Defense Ministry.
He told the State Minister for Sport to present a memo to the council of ministers for upgrading air tickets’ fairs, directing Finance Minister to purchase a generator for the Juba Football Stadium.
State Minister for Culture Youth and Sports David Lokonga Moses earlier complained that many of their 54 clubs in Juba have no playgrounds.
He said some individuals grabbed playgrounds by force for constructing their houses.
Minister Lokonga said the youths who he described as ‘very important’, have shown their love to the new nation.
