Gangara residents hold internal security meeting

Gangara Emilia residents in Yambio town on Sunday held a community meeting on internal security for the protection of life and properties of their people.
 
They resolved to form a youth networking patrol team to monitor and tour residential areas at night and thoroughly observe local people and foreigners renting houses.
 
Community chairperson Charles Samuel David told Anisa FM Radio that the meeting was to set up sustainable safety to reduce theft cases affecting many families.
 
Area headman Edward Bageru during the meeting urged the residents and Yambio county authorities to be security conscious.
 
He called upon the different residential areas to imitate the same spirit to avoid missing properties of people.
 
Gangara Emilia youth so far captured two thieves and handed them to legal authorities at Yambio Central Prison.
