Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop Barani Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala on Sunday baptized 14 candidates and confirmed 12 of them at St Mary Parish in Yambio.
12 candidates who received both baptism and confirmation were adolescents and adults of age 13 to 54 and babies of less than a month old, Anisa Radio reported.
Bishop Hiiboro said no one should hate those converting from other religion because the Catholic Church as a mother welcomes everybody who returns to Christianity.
The Bishop in his homily told the congregation that God gave full authority of all creatures to man and that the man should commit to do things right and persevere.
He thanked God for the gift of money contributed to him and that the funds would help him to look after St. Joseph Naagori Minor Seminary seminarians.
He asked the faithful to continue praying for peace in South Sudan and take good care of their children.
