Cabinet pronounces severe punishment for gang rapists in Juba

The national Council of Ministers on Friday spelt unspecified severe punishment for gang rapists terrorizing Juba City at night hours.
 
Deputy Government Spokesperson Rachel Nyadak Paul told journalists that President Salva Kiir’s cabinet resolved to punish gang rapists severely if arrested as it instructed for thorough search of the criminals.
 
She explained that the resolution followed Interior Minister Aleu Ayieny Aleu’s briefing about insecurity elements in parts of Juba.
 
Media on Friday quoted Rock City and Gudele residents complaining about robbery and gunshots at night hours making them to sleep on floor and urinate indoors.
