Justice Minister on Saturday agreed to follow and sort out issues of promotions, allowances and need of reforming the legal legislation.
Paulino Wanawilla Unango said the matter was referred to the Finance Ministry.
The Minister said promotion was in place but that money was needed at hand to promote workforce.
He added that the economy of the country is running on the oil, producing few barrels per day than before and that the whole work is temporarily ‘arrested’ due to lack of money.
The Minister made the remarks after meeting the staff on issue of allowance, arrears and promotions.
