Yei Day Secondary School on Friday inaugurated Young Christian Students’ or YCS 2014 -2015 office bearers.
Yei Catholic Diocesan YCS Chaplain Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit told the office bearers that to come to office was an opportunity to practice, learn and know skills of leadership which he described as ‘gift from God’, Easter Radio reported.
He said many people can have high education, but their actions do not reflect the contents of what they learned.
Fr Lodongo criticized many NGOs coming with petty activities of two-three days workshop that produce no future results only meant for wasting time and resources.
In the same occasion, Holy Spirit Sister Carmel Silvero described Yei Catholic Diocese as rich of having Young Christian Students following Jesus as witnesses among themselves.
She advised the students to be witness not only to themselves, but other people in their daily life.
