Government Chief Whip on Monday said that they would conduct more consultative conferences to know citizen’s views regarding the ongoing conflict.
Tulio Odongi told the media after attending a three-day mini conference in Yambio, Western Equatoria that the conference was conducted prior to Inter-governmental Authority on Development or IGAD’s recommendations, Bakhita Radio reported.
National minister of Agriculture Beda Marchar urged South Sudanese to continue with the spirit of dialogue for lasting peace in the country, saying the government needs peace to start at the grassroots.
Vice President James Wani Igga opened the mini conference on Friday and closed it on Saturday.
