Rumbek Police Chief Inspector Colonel said two weeks ago they arrested a boda-boda rider identified as Buong Thicjin for carrying a man who allegedly stole a goat.
Isaac Mayuom Gop on Monday told Good News Radio that the boy was arrested because when the owner of the goat identified his animal and reported to the police, the alleged thief ran and left the rider in trouble, reported.
He said they detained the boy to face the law because he committed a crime against property.
The Chief Inspector reported that they deployed police to prevent criminals from entering the town to disrupt business.
